Information!!!

What should a caregiver do if they fell “under the weather”?

The caregiver should contact On-Call as soon as the symptoms present. Being “Under the Weather” does not mean you are unable to work. BUT it is important for Management to know, to understand symptoms, notify clients/client representative, and give instruction to the Caregiver

If the Client is “Under the Weather,” are Caregivers mandated to do the visit?

No! If a Client is sick (contagious), the caregiver has the ability to decline going to the visit. Yet, if the Caregiver declines to go to the visit, they will not be paid for that visit time.

What supplies is recommended for the Caregiver to have?

  • Hand sanitizer

  • Masks

  • Gloves

Clients are required to buy their own supplies (gloves, cleaning supplies, transportation devices, etc) yet it is recommended for Caregivers to have some supplies of their own to provide extra protection.
